Tanvi (from interview): "I was, uh, born in Solapur District in Maharashtra, in the year 1992. Uh, although brought up in Navi Mumbai..."

Tanvi (from interview): "I was always the topper, not only in studies, but I also participated in various activities. Those years have helped me a lot."

Narrator: "A defining aspect of Tanvi's development was the early responsibility thrust upon her within her family being the eldest sibling”.

Tanvi: "Being the eldest, managing six siblings at home, I learned to juggle multiple tasks from a young age. So, at that time I used to feel very angry, yaar, I don't get to enjoy and mujh pe hi sab dal ke chale jaate hain. But today I can do efficient multitasking because of that.

 

Narrator: "Tanvi's journey took a significant turn during her early education, mirroring a bold decision by her father."

Tanvi (from interview): "My father decided to quit his job and start his own business

Tanvi (from interview): " being a civil engineer graduate, I decided to work more in the projects part, the project execution. Within one or two months, I saw my father pulling me out of that and getting me more into the finances."

Narrator: "This shift towards financial & overall management was a new challenge for Tanvi, requiring her to quickly adapt and grow beyond her engineering background."

Tanvi (from interview): "At that time, we had a requirement of a lot of capital if we wanted to grow. 

Narrator: "Tanvi's journey in finance and in overall business management wasn't just about numbers; it was about building relationships and trust, essential for business growth."

Tanvi (from interview): "I guess maybe he saw that spark that yes, I am good at convincing people. I separated into a lot of departments... he saw that in me and he never said no to do anything."

Narrator: "Under her father's guidance, Tanvi's role evolved rapidly, marked by a blend of innovation and prudent risk-taking. He made her managing director in just within a year"

Tanvi (from interview): ". He told me one thing which I still remember. That see, good decisions made by you will give you success definitely, but bad decisions will give you experience."

Narrator: "Empowered by this wisdom, Tanvi transformed the business, introducing technology and automation, reshaping its future."

Narrator: "Tanvi Auti's tenure as Managing Director marked a pivotal shift in the company's direction, particularly in its transition to a more corporate structure and her instrumental role in the SME IPO journey."

Tanvi (from interview): "In 2017, we were awarded with 34 works of supervision... So you can imagine the requirement of capital. We either had to get capital or let go of some of the works."

Narrator: "It was at this crucial juncture that Tanvi's strategic decision-making came to the forefront, leading the company towards an innovative financial path."

Tanvi (from interview): "We met Mr. Ajay Thakur, the BSE SME head. He liked the company so much and immediately said we should definitely go for listing. We raised 23 crores at a price of 54 in 2018 through SME IPO."

Tanvi (from interview): " my father always made it a point ki tier 2, tier 3 cities se hi employees lene hai... They just need a little grooming, a little hand holding and they'll stay with you forever."

Tanvi (from interview): "When it comes to employees also, we have in fact the least attrition rate amongst our competitors.

Especially women, unko, uh, 80 percent of my corporate office are women who, uh, are from a middle class background."

Tanvi (from interview): "2016, I got married... I have a three-year-old child. It is very important to have a work-life balance. You cannot just take out all your frustrations at home."

Narrator: "Tanvi emphasizes the importance of maintaining patience and calm, both in professional and personal settings, a lesson she learned after becoming a parent."

Narrator: "Tanvi's commitment to societal well-being is evident in her approach to infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and safety for the public."

Tanvi (from interview): "Maintaining quality roads, giving quality roads to the public is very important... We have a pool of road safety experts... we ensure that before handing over the road to the public, it has been inspected by them."

Her main shining, uh, I observed, uh, her at the time of IPO, when we decided to go for IPO in January 2018, in a period of two months only, uh, we got listed on the BSE SME with all the hard work of the, of the team, but mainly, uh, headed by Tanvi. 

BSE, there was a normal migration, but NSE, uh, there, it was a tough task. So a lot of documentation, a lot of paperwork and a lot of, uh, presentations were to be done to the NSE. At that time she led, and I was on second front and she led the company and she, uh, successfully, uh, uh, migrated the company to NSE in November, 2021.

With the able leadership of Tanvi, we are hoping to get at least two works in near future in the international market that will give a great boost to the company.

Narrator: “Tanvi’s vision is grand for the future”

Tanvi (from interview): "So, in the next five years, we definitely target making the company's market cap to 500 crores and in 10 years, thousand crores. This is our dream that me and my father and, the entire company has seen together."

Narrator: "Her plan for growth is not limited to financial targets but also includes a significant expansion in the workforce to support the company's scaling."

Tanvi (from interview): "Employee strength, today we are 400 employees and, taking the company ahead in five or 10 years, if we go a thousand crores or even 5,000 crores, this employee strength from 400 has to go up to 2000 in 10 years."

Narrator: "With a global vision, Tanvi aims to establish Dhruv Consultancy's presence across continents, tapping into diverse opportunities in the infrastructure sector."

Tanvi (from interview): "Dhruv consultancy is soon going to make a mark globally and, I would definitely want our presence in each of the continent now, starting whether it is America, Africa, then Asia, we are already there, but then other countries in Asia, the Gulf, Southeast Asian countries, Australia."
