Mr Murtaza Harneswala began to understand the complexities of business at a young age. During his graduation years, he spent the majority of his evenings assisting his brother in his business. He discovered his passion in business and was almost certain to start his own business after his studies.

Murtaza went out on his own in 2000 and started a wholesale business selling furnishings and mattresses. He established himself in Panvel, a populous Mumbai suburb.

Despite the fact that he was in a new area, he could quickly gain traction. He gained the trust of local retailers and established a name for himself.

Mr Murtaza Harneswala decided to enter the retailing of foam and furnishing products in 2015. He  had no prior experience in the retail industry. Despite the fact that the product category was similar, the orientation was vastly different. He took out large loans to fund operations, projections and financial planning were inadequate, sales numbers were falling and he began to feel the pinch of cash flow.

Even after experimenting with various strategies, he was unable to find any immediate solutions to turn things around. His confidence began to dwindle, he was depressed.He decided to hand everything to his debtors and move on. He considered taking up a salaried job.

On one such occasion, Mr Murtaza ran into a long-time friend and well-wisher.After hearing his plight,his friend told him, ``You built all of this, and now it's your turn to rebuild it. Just DO IT AGAIN

This hit him like a bolt of lightning, bringing with it a new wave of hope and energy. On the same day, he decided to rebuild what he had lost. He made an appeal to all of his debtors and shared the revival plan.He returned to his wholesale business and bolstered it. His cash flow situation began to improve, and he was able to clear his debts.. 

However his retail failure lingered at the back of his mind. He was confident that he would be better prepared this time. He enrolled in financial management classes and thoroughly worked on understanding financial aspects of a business.

He  re-entered the retail space well prepared. His retail outlet, Global Foam and Furnishing, now has one of the highest footfalls in the area.

A problem will never remain a problem because all it takes is that "one moment" of hope and inspiration. So hold on and keep going because the moment of hope and inspiration is just around the corner.

The formula for success is always within you; all you need to do is get into the right frame of mind.
