Mr Koustubh Gokhale hailed from a conservative brahmin family with no business experience. Mr Koustubh Gokhale's father had a distinguished career in the private sector. His father wanted to establish his own business but couldn't do it.

Mr Koustubh Gokhale's father was offered to work as a consultant after retiring, but he declined and instead purchased an industrial plot.

Mr Koustubh Gokhale earned his BE in Instrumentation in 1998. He and his family were keen about starting their own firm. They had an industrial plot but no project to begin work. Mr Koustubh Gokhale relentlessly sought chances, met 100s of individuals week after week in order to make a breakthrough.

Ranbaxy Fine Chemicals Ltd assigned them a project. This marked the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey. Mr Koustubh Gokhale developed a raw materials supply product range based on this experience. He contacted every potential customer in the industrial belt. Many of them requested samples, and because Mr Koustubh Gokhale did not come from a chemical background, he had to create a knowledge foundation around it. He worked in many departments, gaining extensive functional knowledge. He even did a Tally course to ensure that the accounting administration was done correctly.

They spent all of the revenue back into the business over the next 15 years, taking nothing home. Mr Koustubh Gokhale followed his father's advice and ensured that no single product accounted for more than 20% of income.

Gajanan Enterprises has established itself as a premier manufacturer, exporter, and supplier of industrial chemicals over the years.

Allowing our children to take risks earlier in life allows them to learn and grow from the ground up. Mr Koustubh's father was his seed investor and actively backed him in business for ten years.

Mr Koustubh's father taught him to first establish himself, then do something for society, and then do something that will be the seed for the following generation.

Mr Koustubh Gokhale adhered to his father's principles to the letter, taking on developmental responsibilities with Thane-Belapur Industrial Association. He reached out to institutions and is collaborating closely with them to build courses and establish industrial connections to assist the next generation in establishing a foundation for themselves.
