Ms. Ramya Chandrasekaran, a native of Vellore, began her career in industrial sales at Cipla Limited, an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company based in Mumbai.

She had the charisma necessary for sales and performed well from the start. Within two and a half years, she was elevated to a managerial position. She got married in 2003 and had to relocate to Chennai. She continued to work for Cipla Ltd but could not continue due to the long and irregular working hours.

During that time, she pursued and completed her MBA in HR despite being pregnant during the final semester exams.

She intended to resume her career after one year, but had to relocate to Gujarat due to her husband's job. After about three years, they located to Hosur, where Ms. Ramya got the chance to relaunch her career as an HR practitioner at Ma Foi Strategic Consultants. Her majority of assignments were with manufacturing firms. After a couple of years, they moved back to Chennai, where she gave birth to their second child.

Ms. Ramya was given the opportunity to relaunch her career in 2017 as a group HR for a family-owned business. She attained OKR Professional Certification. OKR enables all levels of the OKR life cycle in an organisation, from the development of good Objectives and Key Results to the deployment of strategic, tactical, and operational goals, monitoring, and closure.

Since childhood, Ms. Ramya has been a tenacious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. Even though she was an employee, she always exhibited the entrepreneurial spirit in her thoughts and actions. Ms. Ramya had always considered pursuing a career as an entrepreneur, but her EMI obligations prevented her from doing so.

But in 2018, she decided to start her own HR consulting business and was willing to give away the house she was paying EMIs on. This time, she was so determined. As the adage goes "fortune favours the brave," she immediately received some enticing assignments, including one with Star Health Insurance.

Her work was recognised, and she began to receive numerous assignments. During this time, Ms. Ramya realised that in order to grow and scale, she must transition from a 'projects' company to a 'products' company.

As fate would have it, in the same year she met Mr. Dharmendiran is a social function. Ms. Ramya and Ms. Dharma were long-standing family friends.

Mr Dharma hailed from Coimbatore. Mr. Dharma came from an agrarian family, and his father was a teacher. In 1998, Mr. Dharma graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Dharma's father was extremely proud because he was the first engineer in his family.

Mr. Dharma is naturally inquisitive and hands-on. After a few brief assignments in Coimbatore in 2002, he relocated to Chennai.

His career began in the department of sourcing and procurement. He earned an outstanding reputation at every company he worked for. Through the years, he had the opportunity to work for Roots Industries India Limited, T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Limited, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Yazaki India Private Limited, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd, and Alstom, among others.

He was exposed to numerous organisational cultures, such as German, American, and Japanese, among others. Since he worked in procurement, he was exposed to numerous business owners. By interacting with entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses, he learned a great deal.

When he met Ms. Ramya at the social event, he was the General Manager of Polyhose India Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of hoses. He was establishing organisational structures and procedures there. 

Mr. Dharma discussed some of the difficulties in people management, while Ms. Ramya discussed her ORK experience. Mr Dharma gave the assignment to Ms Ramya. Within a year the results were positive. All of this, however, was done in Excel sheets, and managing it for more than 750 employees was becoming increasingly difficult.

Mr. Dharma and Ms. Ramya explored all existing software applications, but none met their needs.

The idea occurred to them that they could create an application and offer it as a solution to other organisations facing similar issues. They decided to form the company Datalligence AI Private Limited as a result. 

Entrepreneurial spirit is all about taking charge of your position, regardless of its nature. It involves examining your tasks and responsibilities and asking, "How can we improve?" "How do I fulfil our obligations?"

Whether you are a homeowner, an employee, a professional, a student, etc., you can demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset. You can become a truly transformational business leader when you combine entrepreneurial spirit with courage.

The OKR Software market is a rapidly expanding industry with a current size of nearly $1 billion.
